That's not a font, by the way.
#39,40 is a little too generic.
The caveman is too blocky.
After a second pass, we're wanting to see where this could go.
Could the caveman be a little more caveman, and a little less Unix guy (really can't tell he's a caveman)?
Could you add the labcoat and show upper torso?
We would much rather see only the chest up rather than the whole body.
It is just the style, but I get what you are saying. I'll lay off some of the blocky-ness and work on his torso. Do you not like the actual logo? If not, how can I improve?
Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, I do like the text.
I do like the #42 text better for the moment, but don't dislike #41.
For possible improvement, maybe make it a little less sparse (characters are quite a bit spaced out right now)? Possibly even with the individual letters connected or overlapping (but still legible).
I'd have to see it to know.
Blockyness on the caveman is not even so bad, but really that I can't tell that he's a caveman. Torso is good - labcoat, etc.
Thanks.

Very good.
On #49, can we see the new text separated into the two words (space between ooga and ooga)?
On #49, can we see the text logo separated from the caveman, and the caveman with a simple speech bubble with comic book style text, saying "ooga ooga"? That is, we would then have a textual logo and a mascot with a slogan.
For the caveman, some ideas that I'd like to see if possible...
a bigger nose (probably just extended wider).
a slouch - probably with shoulders higher and wider (maybe nose height) and squared, less of a diagonal slant to the arms and his head showing a good slouch.
I don't quite like the bone in hair.
Is that reasonable?
Excellent, I'll get on that right away. Thanks for the feedback again!

I've received feedback from others at our company.
They've asked if the arms and hands can be more "defined" in #52.
Apparently, they thought they were somehow legs and feet !?
I didn't see it myself, but thought I should pass that along.
BTW, all did say that once they "saw it", it was hard to see the legs again...
Anyway, thanks.
Another question...
What might be done about the tooth?
I'm not certain that I dislike, however, for the first few days I thought it was drool or spittle...someone else at the company pointed out that it was a tooth...
If it belongs, please do keep it, however, if you have other ideas or maybe you'd tried a few that didn't work in your opinion, please tell me.
Thanks.
FYI...
I checked out the deviantart at:

I wondered what #6 looked like (with the dots within the o's). Is it worth it?
Thanks.
I'll get started on some more drafts immediately, thanks!

Here we are. There is the alternate logo design. I scrapped the tooth, modified the "feet" at tad, haha, and just tightened up some edges here and there. Let me know if that
I do like without the tooth.
I do also like the subtle mods to the caveman.
But, I also like the prior text logo (#52) (thanks for letting me see that :)
Can you also show the B/W rendering (if you've the time).
Thanks.
Another thing...
I did like the subtle drop shadow on #52 (it looks like it's gone on #51).
So, caveman from #60 and the text, etc. from #52.
Thanks.

These are great.
We've also received feedback from others now...
Most of our people are still saying that this (#62) doesn't look enough like a caveman (this is because enough engineers look like cavemen so when you draw a caveman as an engineer, you have some confusion).
So, a few provided suggestions:
1. an angle on the leopard skin shirt, exposing hair on chest area.
2. possibly tattered sleeves on the labcoat
3. messier hair or stubble (wherever that makes sense)
Thanks.

Sorry, I've got some more ideas, but I am actually on the road on my way to a wedding I didn't know about prior to 3 hours ago, haha. I'll get you more soon.
Not a problem.
We're going to gather all of the results, discuss and decide.
Thanks.
