Ok, my client thinks that some of the designs have some potential, but they feel like they ran out of time with this contest and that they need to see some new designs as well as perhaps some changes to a few of the designs that they liked. With that in mind, we will be running this contest again beginning on Sunday, April 26 and ending on Thursday or this next week. Any contestants that received a 4 star rating on one of their designs, will be asked to re-submit their design. They are also welcome to submit new designs.

We are still evaluating the designs. Unfortunately, we will probably not be able to provide more information until Monday since it is the weekend.

Hi all - We are excited about the submission thus far! We would like to see some designs without the scales of justice and with rich color schemes (like in 18/19, but we are open to other colors). #15 - Can you change the font of the design?

Our logo will be viewed by over 1000 law firms in New York City as well as thousands of minority law students & attorneys each year. We would like the logo to be a visual representation of the fact that our organization provides services to increase diversity (of law students & lawyers) within the legal community. Thanks!

Logos can also reference the full name of the organization - Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program, Inc.

I'd like to see some more use of color and also perhaps graphics that are diversity or minority minded in addition to the law reference.
#5 & #6 remove "Program" from under PALS and also remove the website. #4 - remove Program. The brand is PALS.
Look at logos at www.legaloutreach.org, http://www.lsmr.org & http://www.thurgoodmarshallfund.org for ideas.
Thanks!

Perhaps #1 is a tandem parachute jump? http://www.90-degrees.co.uk/images/front413.jpg

I noticed that the first few designs include the website address. In the creative brief when we included www.palsprogram.org in the Branding, we did not mean to imply that the website address needed to be part of the logo. I've since taken that out.
Also, I noticed that all three designs are grayscale/b/w. By 2-color we do not mean just grayscale. However, the logo should still look good in grayscale if needed. So feel free to use any two colors that you think would look good...but remember to keep your color choices professional and a little on the conservative side, i.e. probably no really bright, highly saturated colors.

Yes, we are quite enamored by #1 as well. Perhaps NSFW? :-)
