Actually he can have more then one winner, need to read the faq page of 99designs.
Here is the link to the faq page;"How can I have more than one winner?
Simply allocate more prizes! You'll need to give a prize in exchange for every design you want to use. The more prizes you offer, the more winners your contest will have, and the more designs you'll be able to use."

#23 angrypuppy, looks good but your "Airsoft" text seems disproportionate to the "MX" by 2 maybe 4 pixels. Try shrinking the "Airsoft"
text and you will be dead on. I like how you used Xerox's font.#34 & #35 Wow that just blew away my work on this contest. Nice job!

The font has no copyrights, so no concerns to Contest Holder is needed.. It is called Neurotoxin and it is free for anyone to download.Even Xeroxs logo maker.
I live thirty minutes from Xerox in Rochester NY. That logo is not even on the building anymore. I think they realized they got dipped on a free font!Here is the story of the font.

living in Rochester,NY, where Xerox was headquartered, the local
paper made a big deal of how much the company had spent for a
new logo. I got onto the OpEd page with some pure fanwriting
about that logo – a big X – which looked like it had been gnawed at
by rats.
The font (called Neurotoxin) is the font Xerox used for their logo.So thanks Bob, for your compliment and then your slam.

You read it wrong, was saying I like the use of the font. I myself was born outside of Rochester, NY and had family that worked for Xerox
and was not slamming you on your logo. Just figure I point out that the text seems a bit off with Airsoft bigger then the MX part. I do like the logo do get me wrong on that. Sorry if you took it the wrong way! ~Bob- User

I think you need to re-read Xerox's logo history. Their old
logo was created by Landor in 1994 and the font Neurotoxin
was created and copyrighted 2000 by Harold Lohner.NEUROTOXIN was based on a particular one-letter corporate logo.
The basic letterforms are derived from a bold Bodoni-type font.
Each letter is modified to appear to be forming from or dissipating
into pixels. Serve with a nice Bodoni or even Times Roman.Your right Neurotoxin is free to use. But figure you need the rest of

So it is a free logo that was created by someone else to emulate that one letter?. Its not the same and no different than anyone else here who uses inspiration from something.
No one has ever got in to trouble for using this font. Not even the creator of it, it in all these years? Why would any one now? It is still free on many sites to download. And i based my decision on the fact that is was free and there for all to use.

If the contest holder or anyone else feels differently i would like to hear about it. Not to fight and be at one another. but so i can recreate my own two letters and make my own unique font off what i have done to this. I do try to stay within the rules if any one has seen my work.

Angrypuppy, your safe with the old font you were using, I was just saying I like the use of the font but your design needed some tweaking in size by 3-4 pixels as your MX text in #23 is smaller then the Airsoft text. It is a great design just needed some adjustments. ~Bob

Top designs are #23 & #43. I'm thinking I'm going to have to award two people, it's just going to be a tough decision on who takes first and who takes second. Are both of you willing to take second place? If so, when I choose a winner we can discuss second place prize money. I'd want to use one logo for the website and one as our vendor logo.
Also: #24 and #26 may also be the winners, so I'd like to hear your feedback on 2nd or 3rd place(if I give a 3rd place).

Hello, I don't mind being Second or third just have to consider how much to be compensated for the work.
I personally think the top 2 should get the same amount and anything after that should fall on the minimum
of $100. Just my opinion. There is a lot of work put into creating a logo and that time should be compensated.I could live with even $75 for third place.
