I edited my first entry by changing the text which this captures the mood more to me. I also came up with another idea. Again, I realize you are looking for 2 colors but wanted to use shades of those colors to make the graphic a little more richer. Edits can be made.

nice work, but we were really hoping for a logo as well as the name - doesn't have to be complicated - try stealing & stylizing the one on the current website maybe ( www.salsaconnection.com.au )

Here are a couple of variations on one idea. One being simpler than the other. While you wanted two colors, tried shades of the base colors to make it pop more. Overall, simple ideas with a little flavor, in my opinion.
