Beautiful design! My LOVE the color and maturing of thier current logo. to make this work, here is what I would like:
1) Would the buildings look right with the variation of buildings shown http://www.envoca.com/design-concepts/LeasingJ.pdf. This is the actual skyline of jacksonville. 2) I like the addition of the sun some have added http://99designs.com/contests/6541/entries/424658.png. If this looks bad forget it, but I would like to see that. 3) I think they are going to want the L capitalized.
If you can create a variation like that for me, I can present tomorrow!

I talked with the site partners today--they do wnat to go with this logo. They want to see a couple variations possible:
1) They wanted to see if you could try another font or two for the logo - I love this font, before they make the change I think they just wanted something to compare it to.
2) They also asked the see logo with brighter colors. Now that they see how great the redesigned logo looks they are asking if brigher colors will add even more energy to the logo.
3) They want to make the small text stand out a bit more.
