#38. I still like the way you are using the main image, and there is an elegance about the design. However, it does make the site seem somehow basic.
My worry about the horizontal menu is that the client may insist on adding more items to the menu in the future, and there won't be room. -

#1. Too basic.
#5 An improvement on #1. I like the use of the main image. The company name and strapline could do with something to make them standout - perhaps some drop shadow on the letters. The vertical menu is okay, but I'd prefer something more sophisticated and I don't really like the blue wash over the suppliers logos - third-party logos should always remain as they were supplied. I like the appoach of having the latest projects on the homepage.
#8 Doesn't include the suppliers' logos. Not keen on the background - I think it would look too garish on a large monitor. I think I prefer the layout on #5 -
