Brief Summary

We are looking for a single-page design for the home page of a new website for a composite window company. The design will be used as a template for the rest of the site. The client is a young but expanding company who work on large prestigious projects and are looking for a web site which will add status to the company.

  2. Windows are not aluminium outside and wood inside. They are full aluminium. A wood is only an imitation.

  10. Thanks for all your entries. There are some interesting entries and it will same me some time to consider each one. It's been a busy day, but I will be giving feedback during the next few hours.

    Just to clarify - I'm not looking for a coded design, just a .psd file.

  18. Thanks for all your entries! 71 designs from 22 designers. It's been hard to find the time to keep up with them all and give thoughtful feedback, but I hope I've managed to do that.

    There hasn't been a design that has really stood out - and I haven't awarded 5 stars to any entry — but overall I think the standard has been high. With a faily narrow brief and limited content/graphics it perhaps didn't give a huge scope for creativity or originality.

    Now I need to review all the entries and pick a winner. Not an easy task - I wish I could put it to a vote!

    This is my first contest and you are welcome to give me feedback on it. You are also welcome to help me out by commenting on which are your favourites from other designers ;-)

  20. #62 and #52 are my favorites - only thing i would change on #52 is the banner - the gray box over the picture just looks out of place other than that those are my 2 votes! hope that helps.

  24. Okay, I've finally made a choice and the winners is #57.

    It's not the most original or the most refined. But it makes an impact and it was popular amongst a variety of end-users I showed some entries to.

    It does need some refinement though and I don't see it as a finished design.

    Thanks everyone for all your entries. There were some strong designs and making a choice was very hard!
