Brief Summary

We Go To 12 is a consulting group that works with web 2.0 app developers on rapid prototyping, project management, and tech strategy development. Our name is based on a scene from Spinal Tap...so this could be quite a fun logo to work on. :)

    Thank you all for some really wonderful designs! Unfortunately, I can only accept one in the end. I would like to congratulate palmateer for design #60, the winning entry.

    I apologize for not leaving feedback for everybody. I learned that I should not do a contest on 99designs in a week when I spend 3 days on various forms of transportation. If anybody that I did not leave feedback for would like some, send me a PM and I will.

    #69 looks liek the "talk to chuck" logo that Charles Schwab uses.

    Wow, thanks for all the incredible entries. This is really a wonderful set of logos that you have all put together.

    I apologize for not being prompt with feedback for the last 2 days, I was traveling and forgot both my power adaptor and UK sim card...so no network or juice. That is fixed now, so I'll be online regularly giving as much feedback as I can.

    First let me congratulate you on a very good 10 minute logo! In regards to your nasty attack. When in business you need to in some way connect with your clients. Whatever common ground you may have. It is part of being civil and good natured. In regards to being "picked". As we all know, art is subjective and what looks good to one may not look good to others. To be perfectly honest, there are many, many outstanding designers on this site who are light years better than I. What I do, is what I do. If it "hits" the mark, it "hits" the mark. When you get older you too will understand these things. It never hurts anyone to be cordial. It really is very difficult to be an effective Graphic Artist under very tight paremeters such as this "free" site. So, in closing, I wish you all the best when entering contests on this site, as I have noticed you have about 6 entries. The more you design, the better (sometimes), you get.

    Guys, I want to give some general feedback. BTW, this is my first contest, so I'm still learning what kind of feedback is helpful for the process.

    There is no need to have any literal reference to Spinal Tap, it's just the origin of the name and I figured it may provide one source of inspiration to start from. I don't want to prescribe that as a requirement. #2 is a direct reference with the font, and #4, #10, #8, and even #9 (to some extent) all reference the volume control.

    I'm thinking of lifting the requirement that the full text of "We Go To 12" is in the logo. Please let me know if anybody has any strong thoughts on that one way or the other...just in the spirit of logo design in general.

    Please, keep up the good work and let me know if I am being confusing in my feedback.

    Vic, can you be anymore of a kiss @$$? "I gotta go out and buy Spinal Tap". Seriously, do you think the CH is gonna pick you because you "say" you like the same movie as him? You better hope so because your logo will never work. You can barely read the numbers on it now and if it is ever reduced in size you will lose them entirely. Not to mention the face that the grid structure wil get lost as well....you are basically going to end up with a 12 in a black square or circle or whatever else you put it in. And palmateer, nice attempt to mimic Spinal Taps logo, but why dont you just find a font to download. that looks like you drew it.

    Love the entries. I think I am looking for something a little softer. I hate to use the phrase web2.0, but it gets the idea across. I have updated the brief to contain that.

    Vic08, I really like the idea of the volume dial in #4
