Great work. I like the style here. #43 looks sharp, but in the end was not the winning entry. Thank you for your hard work.

I agree with your comment so i adjust main nav bar , resize news panel and background color.
In addition i design some detail that i think it make better look and feel.Feedback appreciated,thanks.

This layout is looking good! There are several adjustments we'd like to see. The blue header gradients are working well... let's increase the height of the main nav bar a bit and apply a subtle gradient there as well. Maybe from 100% black to 60 or 70% black. The font size on the navigation should be larger than the section headers below.
Could we decrease the width of the news panel and increase the size of the content area? That may also allow you to fit four Projects instead of two by cutting the images in half and laying it out in a 2x2 grid or 'table.'
The only other feedback would be to create a darker background to help punch up the contrast between the background and foreground elements.
All in all, very nice work!
