Brief Summary

Businesses start as ideas and grow-- they are in essence "Living Ideas". I prefer designs that are web 2.0 feeling-- light and open.

I will include a link to the website of the winning designer for a minimum of one month after I launch. Since my target audience is small business owners, this may be a great way to get more work.

    Hi vkw91, these are pretty good. I like them. I wouldn't mind seeing another color design though. I prefer the bottom logo. Good work!

    Hi Giengerracing, thank you for submitting your entry. I'm looking for something a little more business looking. This seems a little too "dreamy".

    MrBaseball34, I like this initial design but I'm not sure what the lines are for behind the words. That kind of gives it a "musical" connotation. Blue is a great color to use-- my audience is mostly male and blue is the most popular color for corporatations.

    The blue lines invoke creation, such as architectural drawings. I was surprised to see your "no light bulbs" note. It has been a challenge to come up with something to convey the ideas. I am working on another idea that may be even better.

    #8, great work!I would say I like #7 but the fade will be difficult to reproduce due to the gradient. It's definately in the top 2.

    #15, I like what you've done. The growing dots suggest growth and that relates to the idea that businesses grow. I thought this was appropriate given the objective. Good job.

    #10, thank you for your entry. I think the left side is contradicting. It kind of creates an "x". It might be appropriate for a company that has an "x" in their name but I would rather see something that connotates growth.

    That is the way things work here. You use the stars and comments on individual entires to refine the entries to what you want.

    Just passing by, but reading the comments I see there is possibly a communication error here. What MrB meant is that you click on the design and leave comments for that designer there. Everyone who looks cam see them, but it's easier to relate the comments to the specific designer's work that way. The general comments section on the 'main page' is usually for general comments, e.g. 'too many entries doing X' or 'can someone come up with a way to add ...'
