Brief Summary

We need modern, corporate and professional logo that we'll use for a number of things. Initially we need it for our website but eventually we'll use it for business cards, letterhead and brochure.

We understand how valuable communications is with these contests and will be prompt with feedback and replies to questions.

    Hey, I don't mind people recycling their own ideas if it hadn't won a contest before. We're a local company in Nova Scotia Canada.

    Thanks to everyone for submitting so many wonder logos so far, it's going to be tough to decide. One thing that I'm liking is the logos with red, black/grey and white. And I like the shade of red from #2, #4, #12 and #20 (just as examples) but don't worry I can visualize the other entries in the shades of red that I'm liking.

    I have to run but will give some more individual feedback later today.

    If your design isnt right for one person, it could be perfect for another. But i dont think palmeteer meant it as a negative. He just thought it fit better for another contest.

    Hey folks, I'm holding back a little on the feedback as I'm waiting for input from my business partner. I don't want to turn down anything he might like. I'll try and put some star ratings on right now but they weren't working earlier when I set them. Anyone know why?

    A couple general comments.

    I think we'd like a wider logo. The ones that are as tall as they are wide tend to scale very small on a letter head or website header. The words show up better on the wider ones in some scenarios.

    Also I think I like the solid color ones. Some of gradients are very pleasing but I'm worried about different print mediums. Maybe I'm not with the times but seems like we'll keep our options open more that way.

    I was just re-reading my last comment and wanted to clarify. The entries that are already submitted that are wider than tall are perfect. I'm not looking for wider still :)

    Interesting point Gandecruz. So I figure there are three ways to separate the words, a space, color and mixed case lettering. I'm not sure I have a problem with how they've been done so far. But you definitely have me thinking. It's the ones with either all upper and all lower and no space that sort of look like one word. I like some of those ones though ;)

    Giving feed back is a bit tough, I hate to sway things too much as the designs start to look similar, "just_simple" has submitted some with blue. I'm not crazy about that particular blue but it's different. My dad changed the black on one of the entries to a deeper blue (RGB: 39,33,129) and I sorta like it. Please don't worry about resubmitting in different colors, I know color changes are easy and can picture them.

    Thank you so much everyone for submitting all the amazing logos. It was fun but very difficult to choose during the whole process and especially the final choice. It came down to intrepidguppy's #29 and designabot's #67 and we let our friends and family vote to break the tie.
