Brief Summary

We are looking for a new logo and nameplate for our existing site, DVD-Shopping-Zone.com. Our logos normally feature the domain name prominently and include a tagline under the domain name.

For delivery, we prefer Adobe Illustrator .ai files or .eps files. If you use an uncommon font, please outline the type and also tell us what font you used.

Brand Name
DVD-Shopping-Zone.com
Description
Tagline
Save on DVDs: Rent, Join & Buy
Desired Color Scheme
white, blue, gray, red
Desired Style
Modern & clean but not easily identifiably as "web 2.0"
Accepted File Formats
Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai)

Color:
The existing site has a color scheme consisting of blue, white and gray with red as an accent color. We want our new logo to generally fit in with these existing colors. Our existing site has a dark blue background in the header area and we'd like to stick with that if possible.

Typography:
We want to use a sans-serif font, but other than that, are open to mostly anything. Our sites normally carry the .com inline with the rest of the domain name and at the same font size. There should also be a very small TM (trade mark) icon to the top-right of the .com. The tagline should be positioned under the domain name.

Textual Content:
DVD-Shopping-Zone.com
Save on DVDs: Rent, Join & Buy

Site Profile:
The site offers memberships to DVD clubs such as Columbia House, subscriptions to dvd rental services such as Blockbuster and Netflix, as well as DVD Collections, Boxed Sets, and single retail dvds from leading online retailers. The site has been up for about a year or so, and we are in the process of upgrading it currently.

Ideas that we want to communicate:
We want to convey that our site carries a complete selection of DVD products and services, and that users do not need to look elsewhere to find better deals or other offers.

Other Notes:
We are looking for a clean, clever and concise logo to add to our site. Modern styling is great but we don't want to cross into the "web 2.0" space. The logo will be featured at the top of every page on the site, and will be used for print/screen only.
