Regarding design #10
We like the two different weights for the words Trade and Pals. Could you show the hyphen in the name somehow as the URL unfortunately requires the Hyphen. Note-we are not sure if this is going to be needed, we just wanted to see what it would look like.
We like the rich look on black but We don't think we will be able to use a black background, so I would think sticking with lighter colored backgrounds would be best.
We are looking for a symbol that gives the impression of networking & sharing. The site is going to allow people to develop a circle of influence with in their regions/cities.

Ok, I missed your comment on the icon.
Now that I read it I see exactly what you are saying.
We like that concept very much (the circle people), but it didn't jump out at us right away that that was what it was.
Can we try a couple of different color combinations to see what it looks like.

thanks for the kind feedback, I guess I should have been more clear about the icon, it is an overhead shot of people joining a hand much like a sports team does before saying "go team!" Here are a few color variants, enjoy!

Yes we do see that now and that is what we are looking to accomplish (people joining a hand much like a sports team does before saying "go team!").The Teamwork idea is what we'd like to promote.
Now that we see it I think the symbol was better with the heads of the individuals matching the color of their bodies like in the first design.
We are looking for a color scheme that will not date itself. Do you have a couple of other colors you could try -- something that is more classic (i hope that this makes sense)

changed color scheme to several options (wasn't sure about what you meant by classic but I figured more muted, complementary colors as opposed to vibrant and pastels) Let me know what you think and thanks for the prompt responses!

I would like to see if we could make it more recognizable as a group of people working together at first glance.

Can you show a shadowing effect on the people? That Might provide the 3D relief to make them stand out.
Maybe try a reflective effect on the words and symbol too to see what it would look like.

I like the look of the icon with the 3D look and shadowing - maybe leave off the highlight on the icon.

I think that these colors work the best so far.
I do like the people in the circle -- I just don't see it with out first being told that they are people. If they were shadowed (their bodies throwing a bit of a shadow, would that make them pop out a little more?
I do like the concept a lot - I just need to make the icon a little more recognizable as People.
I hope this helps - I'd like to work with it.

Yes I think you are getting more towards the colors i am looking for here. What I meant with regards to "classic" colors is this -- I'd like a color scheme that will stand the test of time. Trendy, flashy colors will not work for me (pastels that will "date themselves" will not work for me.

Please see your other entry regarding the shadowing of the "people" to try and make them pop out a little more.
