there was an entry similar to this with the arrows going away from each other (it was removed from consideration too for that reason) -- it doesn't really symbolize the coming together or working together feel I was looking for.

I just don't get the right feel with this icon. I don't really like the Outline around the lettering. Thanks again for the entry.

It is a very classy feel, but the problem that I am having is with the icon - I am not getting that it is a "people" Site. I like the lettering better without the outline that you had before.
Colors feel a little cool to me.
It is the icon that i am having a problem with.
I'd like people to come here and feel like they need to be part of this site - like they need to join to stay in touch with what is happening. It just doesn't give me that impression. It's almost TOO business like. The site is more of a water cooler gathering place for individuals. A place where they can exchange sales leads and marketing tips and tricks that have worked in their area, and can discuss issues and post issues or immediate consequence to them and others in their particular cities.
A little long winded - sorry about that. I am just trying to give you something to work with. I hope that this helps.
