for the contest Logo - Cheat Sheet War Room
Submitted design #18
'Team spirit' look. I hope that this is what you are looking for, please let me know if I need to make some modifications.

'Varsity & Modern' look. Here is another look for your logo. Feedback is nice :-)
Regarding design #19
I like the colors and font here. If you could somehow try to integrate a sport reference or two it may give it a leg-up. I relent that creating a logo which properly conveys the purpose of this application is difficult but the dimensions, colors, and fonts are done very nice.
Regarding design #19
Another option would be to somehow integrate the 'sheetiness' of the application by somehow conveying the drag & drop concept. Just some ideas.

Updated the look to include a sports drag-n-drop look.

Here's how it may look on your prototype site.
Regarding design #22
I'm liking this design best thus far but I'm trying to figure out how to make it reflect the application a little more closely. The fact that each 'sheet' shown has a different sport is a great thing as it reflects that the app will support multiple sports, but I'm wondering if there is any way to modify these small sheets to appear closer to actual item-based sheets. As it exists the left portion of the logo seems to suggest that the user moves around different sport sheets, when in actuality they move around players within an individual sheet.
It could end up looking too busy and maybe I'm overdoing things, but is there is a way to modify the small sheets so that they appear to have 'items' within themselves. These items could simply be small horizontal lines or maybe small 'checkboxes' on the left hand side with some faux text beside them (a checklist look). This could be difficult to integrate with the sport references you currently display on each sheet and I acknowledge that I'm probably being a bit picky but I'm just throwing some additional ideas out there. By having some items in each sheet (the number of items is irrelevant) the mouse pointer to one of those items would reflect the app's purpose very nicely.

This is a very good logo (very retro) but I'm still liking your other entry more.

I added a 'list' look to the sheets. I think this is what you are wanting, please let me know if I am right about this one. :-)
Regarding design #29
This is definitely getting closer; I like how you've added the list items while not sacrificing the sport graphics on each sheet. Here is another idea or two where I could see improvement:
1. Restore the color to the 'CHEATSHEET' letters from the previous entry.
2. In reference to the 'list' look, it may help to try to emulate the drop & drop aspect of the application (similar to what CapnSam has done on his latest entry where the 'item' you're moving [where the arrow is pointing] looks a little different than the others either because it is a different color or by it's position because it is being moved).
If you look closely at my site prototype image you can see that the mouse (the arrow) is being used to 'move' Payton Manning (which represents the item) up in the sheet order. That is the whole purpose of the app, that you can drag & drop players up or down until you have an order that you like. You can then print out this sheet (with the players in the desired order) to use at your fantasy draft. That is what I'm trying to emulate by the 'items' which you just added to the 'sheet'.
Nice job.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for - Very hard to convey the action of drag-n-drop. I can see why this is a great challenge!
Regarding design #31
I think you have the idea with the drag & drop but I like the overlapping elements (sheets/text) of the previous two entries more. Maybe we can work on a combination of the 3 logos as such:
1. I really like the element placement/font/color of entry #398362 so this is a good base. I like the overlapping sheets and the text overlapping looks nice.
2. I like the sheet elements from entry #400352 more than the checklist here, but I'd like to incorporate the drag & drop you've begun with this entry.
3. You have the idea with the drag & drop of this entry, but the item being dragged should maybe be between two of the other items and not near the top of the sheet as here.
If we can incorporate these 3 factors into a single logo I think we may have it.

Awesome feedback - I will get right on making the changes!
Submitted design #33
I think this is more inline to what you need.
Regarding design #33
This is also very good but let's try one more with the helmet still at the top of the sheet and the dragging/dropping happening at the bottom of the sheet (as few as 3 or 4 items would be sufficient I think if you can squeeze them in there). I'd like to compare one like that to this one. Thanks again.

Ok

OK - I might have got it!

Here is a layup of original color, 2-color and B&W conversions
Regarding design #37
We lost the green color of the text but other than that I believe we have a winner.
Regarding design #37
Yeah if we can get the green color back in the text this one will take the gold. Nice job.
