Used circular logo which has the viewer focus in on the message of the logo. Used icon of oil machinery to represent that Bosque works with that industry. Blue drop represents the salt water water that your company deals with. The water underneath the Bosque name is meant to show the salt water well.
Chose a weighty font, it shows seriousness but the narrowness on the top part of the "Q" stem gives the word an agreeable feel.
Green means it's "Clean".
One to two colors not only gives the logo a bold look, it is also cost effective when used on different applications such as embroidery on hats, shirts and printed materials.

Different take on the previous logo. Not so overt. Used shape to represent what most people think of oil drill, tower if you will and the drop to signify the salt water and well.

Deconstructed the imagery a bit more with the tower and the half circle appearing as the horizon while still conveying the message of Bosque's work and contribution.
Green color is viewed as Basque being environmentally mindful.

Inspiration was, what kind of logo would look good on machinery, trucks and even apparel but still convey Bosque's message of what it does and it's contributions.

Thank you for the effort and thought you have put into this design. I really like it. I like the drop of water because that is such a huge part of the business and the element that looks like a rig. Could I see this with a darker green and blue?

Same concept on my previous design, but with a an updated feel.
Kept the rig for oil industry, the drop for the salt water, and kept inside a circular shape to signify the planet, finally blue for the methods Bosque uses to dispose of waste products from oil industry.
I also incorporated 2 shapes that represent the sky above and the well water below.
