  2. What's going on here on 99designs- etechstudios's logo submitted here is exactly the same as the winning logo at this contest http://99designs.com/contests/5661 . Even though you may be the same designer with 2 user names, still a winning logo must not be offered anywhere else , RIGHT

  12. Come on you gotta give to the ones that are original, and I agree with you guys, it's annoying when something that it's really a good design does not get picked over something that was stolen from some other website, and they just change a thing or too. But some people just love cheese balls

    You keep seeing it because its a letter from the LittleCity2000 font, as below:

    I don't think its allowed to use clipart fonts, that would be "work which is not your own", am I right?

    What do you mean "if"? It is so and you said it yourself: "it is part of a clipart font". That contest should have been reported instead of using it as a precedent for further rule violations. As a CH, would you be happy to pay for a free clipart? Not to mention that the font is "free for personal use", therefore it shouldn't be sold as a logo.

Theres a lot of great designers, yet there's always the bunch that are called the wannabes, and other contest holders think their work is soooo awesome, just because they create or copy really busy 3D rendered looking logos or designs. They think that just because their entry looks like a fine piece of glass, that it's really conceptual. Alot of people don't even know what conceptual is, because I've asked them and they can never tell me, it's getting old! But oh well. Cheers! to all the real designers.!!!

  28. well with all this bickering I'd just like to give some credit to good designs even if they don't win.
    like always, Mogeek has a really nice 'classy' logo, elle_z you have a nice one too, although I would have to say that the shapes need a little more refining but I like the concept a lot.
    I may not be as good just yet, but with every design I improve a little more, I enjoy seeing the 'REAL' designers in action nd its not hard to see who is and who is not.
    it would almost be better if this site had some kind of security check to see who has actually spent several years studying design and can prove it with a degree certificate or something, that way there would be less 'crap' for the CH to view. That is just my 2 cents though and i don't expect it to happen, although I'd like to.
