another concept, two capital A form the arches.

Hi V,
Thanks for entering - much appreciated.
Nice clean look. I like the font you've used but I'm not that sure about the shape above the wording. The dimensions / proportions don't quite fit to me.
Hope this helps. Thanks again.
Best,
Alex

Hi V,
Afraid I liked you're previous design more. The word "The" doesn't seem to fit here.

Hi Alex,
The mark is meant to be stylized. It actually contains 3 types of victorian arches- 2 roman style and the smaller pointed one in the middle is gothic ( if my art history memory serves me right.) But if you'd like to see something more accurate I can adjust it for you.
Thank you for the feedback!

Also is it OK for "the" to be absent from the design?

Hi V,
This is my favourite of your designs entered so far. Would love to see what it looks like with either no "The" or a reduced size version of it.

Alex

Hi V,
Thanks for the clarification - I was being thick before and couldn't see the 2 arches cleverly formed the third middle arch. Now that I see this I can see how clever you've been.
Nice job!
To answer your question about the "the", yes it can be absent from the design.
Thanks again,
Alex

with the changes to "the."

Hi V,
Much, much nicer. Great job.

Hi Alex,
The arches are made again with a victorian style font, but this time scale and color are used to show perspective. Also I think the dark gray with suit the brick of the building well, and give a bit more personality then just straight black.
Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Hi V,
Another great effort - thank you so much. Like this one and yes, it does project personality. That said, still prefer the aesthetics of your first design.
Best,
Alex
