And now for something completely different! - Hi, another idea for consideration, I started working a stylized ball and ended up here with the concept of combined colours representing nations but almost in an aperture ring that could apply to your focus on the game as a whole??
Just trying to give you an independent identity that would stand out and not just merge in with all other cricket logos?

this is so different i am not sure where i am with it. i really like it but the letters fica are not right somehow.....
also i am not sure how the coloured strips would be received. its almost too complicated for the consumer to get...
will think about it..

Hi, thanks for your feedback, really enjoying this contest although it's not as easy as it may first appear. Some revisions as per your comments, these are still 'unrefined' but do give you an idea for colours and different fonts, if any one or combination should take your fancy i'd of course be happy to re-submit a more polished version. Note bottom left layout where the strips have been rounded at the bottom which also serves to represent the business end of a cricket bat. Let me know even if you feel that this idea has run its course and isn't working for you whereupon i'd be happy to start over with new ideas.
Kind Regards

there is definitely something here. i would like to see FICA in a couple of different fonts - i am not sure this works. Also i am not sure about the green - maybe something else?
try using the font from the sony "colour like no other" for the text elements
however i really like the creative execution - it stands out

Hi, new idea for consideration, the green bands are representative of the prepared strips on the cricket field combining with stylized/combined letters for 'fica' creating a modern (slightly conservative) logo that trys not to compete with all the affiliated clubs you represent but stands alone as an organization in its own right.

its a decent effort - its a little too like our current logo and we need something a little more conceptual with a bit more depth - there is something there though

not a bad effort but i don't think the style is quite right for us. the font choice is a bit 80's i think and i'm not sure about the multiple bold colours

Hi, great contest! - logo idea for consideration, simple and stylish yet dynamic and bold, would stand out and read well on interview boards etc but also works great reduced down for the web or stationery.
