OK, group update :)
laggdan - This has the best "feel" in terms of looking simple and web2.0 but also corporate and something which you would be happy to trust in and part with your money for. (The downside is the image is in no way related to what the product does and we DO want this to be the case.)
entz, labsign & loldraakje - You have the best images in terms of creative ideas for an image which has potential to stand out on its own and in some way represents what the product does. (It doesnt HAVE to be a dog, but this seems the most popular choice for you all to represent tracking. It could be an indian tracker or detective or person/character with a magnifying glass) These are all good entries but they need more detail/polish/depth and a little bit of corporateness thrown in to make them have a little more authority feel to them. Again, something you can trust and would rely on and something which you would be happy to purchase.
Everyone else, if I have awarded stars it means you are on the right, clean/web2.0/rounded font track. Please concentrate on the above and also your own feedback so you can enter something closer to the mark next time.
Lastly, and meant with respect:
There have been quite alot of sub par entries, by this I mean images or fonts which just are clearly different to our brief and not worth the prize money. We can all open photoshop and add a fancy font, put in a few basic bits and submit. This is not what we are looking for. We have given quite a detailed brief, individual feedback and now group feedback for you to work on. If you provide sub par work, please dont enter, if you cant be bothered to read the brief, dont enter. That being said, there has also been alot of quality good efforts (including some of the ones which have been removed from consideration.) so thank you all for your time in entering and trying to meet our requirements, its much appreciated. If you have any questions or want anything clarified please feel free to contact me!
Thanks guys, I look forward to seeing the new entries and revisions :)

Feedback provided for all entries (any left will be done within the next hr or so :D)
Thanks to everyone.
Please remember:
1) Image within logo needs to be strong enough to use on its own and identify the brand. Think Apple/Squidoo/Feedburner etc etc.
2) We want an approachable/web2.0 feel
3) Detail within the image is important. Thanks alot. I look forward to more entries and revisions.

Hi there, scorpionagency,
re the above contest. That contest was for clients of mine, I have unfortunately been ill and therefore unable to comment. During this time, the contest ended which means there are alot of entries I have not had chance to provide feedback for and therefore make sure it is something the clients are likely to be happy with and pay the prize funds with. I have a great reputation with sitepoint and wont be leaving people out in the dark. I have emailed the admins to ask them to extend the contest so i can provide feedback and get things finished properly with that contest.Ill update a post on that contest to mirror this information. I AM back now and fully healthy so therefore will be providing my usual regular feedback to this contest! :D
