can you be more specific about the flash animation? like is it a header for a website, or is it an animated web banner, or is it just ur logo animated? do u have dimensions in mind, or depends on the size of the logo?
more details would help indeed
thnx... good luck

We have not decided how we want to use the flash animation. It could simply just be just a window on a webpage, and not necessarily a full banner. We do not have any dimensions in mind for this, and any suggestions or designs are welcome for this.
You can just animate the logo, or base it around a recruitment theme. Please let me know if you'd like to know anymore.
Thanks, Sat

Hi
At the moment we are only considering payments by Paypal and cheque. However if there is a design package we really like and the only option of payment is Western Union then we may consider looking at that as a payment option.

Logo Ideas:
Can we all possibly post some designs with the WorkFront logo, as WorkFront.co.uk, so we can see how this may look? (similar to totaljobs.com) - we may not go this way of course.
Also, maybe the possibility of making the Front name as generic as possible, as this can be a brand we apply to other fields out there - i.e. FinanceFront, CarFront, and in this case, WorkFront.
We'd also like the slogan 'What's on the WorkFront?' separate from the logo - as we don't feel it reads right at the moment. Please let us see your ideas towards this.
Flash Ideas:
With the flash, we were thinking of an idea where the word WorkFront comes into the centre from a distance (almost like your driving towards something, it gets bigger as you get closer), then we hear some background noises maybe as the name gets closer, like a drill, a hammer of a judge, a Windows/Mac specific noise etc etc....
Or maybe even workmen/women bringing the WorkFront letters in one by one, and placing then together, then the last workman brings the 'W' in, wipes his hands off, leans against the 'W', then the 'W' suddenly spins, the workman disappears behind it, the 'W' spins 3-4 times and slowly comes to a halt when inline.

We certainly can offer more for the Flash Animation - but there has been little evidence for us to increase the contest value. The current flash designs need to be improved a lot more. Once we feel we are receiving satisfactory designs, we can certainly review this.

Contest Holder:
As for the flash animation, no one is going to want to put forth all the efforts of doing the type of animation you are wanting...that takes a LOT of time and effort...no one is going to do it in HOPES that you up the reward. If you want serious Flash animators to do this type of work for you, you are going to HAVE TO up the reward. The avg. fee for Flash animation in the "real world" is $100-275/hr. according to the people I've talked to. It's true what people say...you get what you pay for. If you want good quality, high quality animations, then you need to take the initiative to pay well for this!!!

woah, $100-275/ hr?! In our country, you'll be able to buy a lot of cakes with that money. imagine 1 ordinary birthday cake is $10. so it would be really fun!

@ch, i think you need the logo fix first... and then flash designer can begin the work from the choosen logo... so they can match colour, any icon that need to put in the flash.

The only way to do that is that 1 entrant will do all 3 formats. sheeshh... that's HEADACHE. anyways, don't do any flash animation, I do make some GIF animations. is that allowed here contest holder? GIF can become SWF.

Solezan's Flash is really nice but just like Gandecruz said, the logo is missing for flash.

Jamie, the point of this whole contest is to see what you can offer. If your saying you cannot offer anything within the prices we've set, than thats fine, please do not do any flash animation. However, I do welcome anyone to provide a sample of their work, and in return, we can submit a further contest with a more 'REALISTIC' valuation for flash animation it would appear. Thanks
