for the contest PetDoc Logo Design
Submitted design #43
The letters in the 'pet doc' name style make up the face of a dog, then a cat, then a smiling human face. Inside the friendly circular letterforms feature a puppy dog eye, a cat's eye with its distinctive pupil shape, then a smiling human eye. Happy pets, pet owners, and service with a smile.
Hope you like it. I can change the colours as well as gloss it up web 2.0 style if you like?

Aorta:
Love the concept, but it's a bit complicated when trying to read the actual letters. Definitely don't gloss it up Web 2.0 style. If anything, try to simplify it? Again, GREAT concept. If only it were a bit more readable...

Thanks. I definitely think it's evolved since the first logo. Still seems too disjointed. Now the focus is on the color blocks instead of the word "PetDoc."

Same feedback as with your similar design

There's still just too much happening. Again, great concept, but thus far it's made for a confusing logo.

Good thought, but now it just looks creepy, like an alien pet or something.

Still too busy

I have devised a typeface made of stylised pet animals. (P) is a bird, (e) is a fish, (t) is a dog, (D) is a cat with a long curving tail, (o) is a tortoise and (c) is a snake.
The logo is highly legible and can work in one and two colour formats.
Hope u like it

Hmm... I'm not sure. I think you've executed this idea well, but the idea itself is kind of an obvious one and as such can only take us so far.
