- Brief Summary
-
Looking for a logo for a pet care information website – logo should be fun while maintaining an authoritative feel and above all SIMPLE.
UPDATE:
Thanks for all of your submissions thus far. Please be sure before submitting that:
-you include correct colors
-the logo can be read easily when shrunk
-the logo is simple but not "obvious" simple
-make sure the logo can translate easily into one-color (not too many overlapping images)The best looking logos thus far have used sans serif fonts with a bit of an edge and have used interesting iconography. Not an outline of an actual dog, but a stylized outline. Thanks again!

PetDoc is a pet health information website launching in the next month – our goal is to become the WebMD of pets, though with a greater focus on Web 2.0 and customization (create a page for each of your pets, etc.). In terms of a logo, it is important that the PetDoc logo:
- be both fun and authoritative
- convey a sense of pets (focus on cats and dogs)
- stay within the color scheme
- be easy to read when small (on a website)
- be simple
Iconography is acceptable and encouraged.
