I think what you have done here is good, I guess when I image my logo I imagine a symbol either before or behind the words 'Web Adventures'. I think what you have done inside the 'A' is great. Perhaps could you try using a symbol (maybe like whats inside the A) as a symbol in front of Web Adventures, or as a background behind the words?? Perhaps what i have mentioned might not look that good, you obviously know what you are doing. Looking great though, well done.
Just going back to symbols, I have tried to think of symbols that I think represent my business (a.k.a. the internet). Things that come to mind are a Globe, maybe a big W. I have to say I really like the Firefox icon, but I'm not sure how I could vary it enough to suit. Sorry, I am rambling a bit here, not sure if I have given you anything of use.

Well thankyou for doing this, you have pretty much did what i asked, it is not working for me though. Unfortunately the globe just isn't grabbing me. I have one more idea though if you are still interested. If you were to replace the globe with something like the fireball in side the A and make it a yellow/orange color, I think that may work.

Wow, now you're getting there. I'm just not sure about the flame being the same color as the text. Yes, if you have a torch and/or map icon that would be great as well.
