    The concept we want the logo and stationery to pass anyone who sees the logo:

    The tagline is:
    Your company at the top of search engines

    Try to imagine which characteristics.

    -Not boring
    -Catches attention.
    -Pass the idea of going up, moving up. Maybe lines along with the logo
    will help give it this sense of movement, as if when people look at the logo
    they get the message: "these guys are tyring to get to the top" and the tagline
    will help people understand exactly what we do.
    -You can use funky colors like lime green, red, silver - As long this is catchy
    and unique.

    Concepts we like: The idea of embed/subliminar icons
    with the name is good.

    We like icons but i think that it works better in our case if
    the icon works altogether with the name BuscaTopo.

    I do feel how complicated is a designers work. I was just trying to sketch of possible
    ideas and i came up with 2. One with the T as an arrow pointing up and the other a line
    starting at the T and circling around the name BuscaTopo with a small arrow at the end of the
    line.

    Well, if you guys have any questions i can try to answer but when i see a design that i do not like
    there is not much feedback to be given.

    Just wanted to let everybody know that i appreacite all entries and it must be hard to translate people´s
    feelings into a exact image. Props to you guys!

    QUESTION: What should I do when i see a logo that i like but i dont know exactly what i want to be changed. How can the designer help in this situation?

    Let him know that is close & ask him to try to work a bit more on playin with the same concept. Important note, do not encourage other designers to follow that idea, no matter what. :)

    My idea for my contest would be a web2.0 logo with an arrow working as our icon (aliaslopot example), something that would follow the lines of the work on the contest above.

    I am not asking for a copy, all i am poiting is the overall look of the logo and stationery. An icon, the name of the company, everything with a web 2.0 style. I like works where the logo has "depth", kind like a 3d effect.

    Our cards will have only url, phone and email.

    Regarding the colors we will either go with a similar color theme or with red/white , lime green/silver/black .

    If anyone has any questions please contact me and i will be glad to help anyway i can.

    * NOTE - Once i choose the logo and stationery a contest for a web layout will be opened. Make sure the logo will adpat rather easily to a nice web2.0 style website.

    Simple:
    You can have a logo that sums up the company idea
    You can have a logo with an icon that is embed in the name

    Designers can follow any line of thought, as long you dont just add an arrow and leave the name BuscaTopo without any work, both in our opinion should work together, icon and logo, icon as a part of the name.

    I think that by telling people to use a certain idea i am limiting this contest, so far i still do not have a front runner so designers are free to come up with any concepts. I will try my best to pick a winner and as this gets closer to the deadline if no concepts are about to be chosen i will try to make a more specific approach.

    i think entering different contests simultaneously using the same logo is prohibited here on 99design, unless the other contest you've entered has been abandoned.

    @CH:
    If you already have chose a particular designer to do job for you (which is by the way apsolutly ok ) but at least what you can do is to inform others so that they do not spend their time and effort working with this contest. It would just be fair to all!!!
