The Kentucky School Boards Insurance Trust (KSBIT) is in need of a new logo identity. Currently, the KSBIT does not have a logo, so we'll be relying on you to get creative and deliver an outstanding design.
About KSBIT
The Kentucky School Boards Insurance Trust provides insurance services for public schools.
Services provided: Loss prevention, property insurance, general liability, fleet insurance, workers' compensation, educators legal liability, student accident, unemployment program, pollution insurance, and umbrella insurance.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a logo that gives a professional, sleek and lasting impression.
What We're Not Looking For
We are not looking for anyhting web 2.0 or cartoon like. These entries will not be selected.
Formats, Colors, etc.
Logo needs to be in vector format (.eps, .ai, etc.). If you cannot deliver the final product in vector format, please do not enter the contest.
Logo should be in CMYK color and work well in both color and black and white as well as look great when used for print (paper, shirts, mugs, etc.) Logo should also look great scaled to smaller sizes.
We prefer a blue color scheme with the blue being:
CMYK- C: 100 / M:72 / Y:0 / K:6
HEX- #00529F
Note: While we like this shade of blue the best, feel free to use any combination of colors that you like. We're not married to this blue, or even blue in general.
As a late addition, KSBIT management would like to possibly see a yellow added to the blue scheme:

Note: Management likes the first tagline above and would like to see it added into the logo, possibly in place of "Kentucky School Boards Insurance Trust" The "30 years strong..." tagline is only a temporary thing for this year which is our 30th year. It will possibly be removed next year. If you can work the second one in, great.
