No, I haven't picked yours as the winner. I was asking for changes to be made so I could see what it would look like before I declare a winner.
What I meant about the image was that it looks like it was just stuck in there...it doesn't look like it's part of the overall design.
Just wondering...how come you keep sticking your tongue out at the end of your posts?
Thanks,

Creative idea with using a bass clef as a backward C. I like that!

what do you mean? you want the image to appear in every page? are you saying my layout is being chosen? if yes i need your approval (to avoid any misunderstanding) so i can start working on the rest of the layout. =Þ

created a simple header to complete and give an identity to the website. it will serve as a logo at the same time.

Wow. I really like that image in there. But I think more can be done to incorporate it and make it part of the overall design...somehow create a theme from it for the rest of the design? Just don't ask me how!
Can you put the tagline back across the top where it was in your first design? I like it better there.
Thanks again,

Regarding design #2
Hi teedzay,
Thank you for your submission. The overall layout is definitely usable. I like the things broken up into blocks. And I really like the tagline (Quality band instrument repair...) at the prominent location at the top with a slightly lighter background.
I'm not crazy about the color scheme though...too many clashing colors. And the saxophones in the center...hmmm...maybe you could incorporate this picture - http://micnap.com/hornblue.jpg - into the center instead and base the color scheme on it? It's a copyrighted pastel a friend did. I have her permission for its use.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Michelle
