    To the contest holder, and any/all designers who care... The company may want to consider using their initials HPV, as it does also stand for the Human Papilloma Virus which is shown to cause Cervical Cancer in women of child-bearing age. For a pharmaceutical company, those initials may have a negative perception, even when used with the full brand name. Just a word to the wise. In this field image is everything so they may want to re-think that idea. I will try to submit something later that shows only the brand name, not the companies initials.

    Just a word to the wise, especially the contest holder. This company may want to re-consider whether it should be using it's initials, as HPV is more commonly known as the Human Papilloma Virus, that is shown to cause cervical cancer in women of childbearing age. It's becoming widely recognized as part of it's own mass media campaign. This is a drug related company and "HPV" may have a negative connatation to those who hear it. In this business image is everything and can make or break a brand, a product or an entire company. Just food for thought. I will work on a logo using just the name, not the initials and submit it tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else.

    I've submitted a version using the initials HPV as it does appear that is still the direction you want to go. Thank you, however, for listening to my concerns, and thank you to the other designers who posted positive reinforcement to my comment. It's nice to get feed back of any type. I will keep working on other versions that do include the initials as well and will post them later. Regards - mm.

    >>jazzact13 & CH....you may want to take a look at what you call a "gray tick"...I believe it resembles something from a well known company...let's see..was it reebok...addidas...new balance..?? Oh, I know...NIKE. I don't think the corporate fellows at Nike would appreciate their logo being used with a companies initials that are currently being used to bring attention to a virus found to be present in cervical cancer. It just wouldn't sell many shoes!
