    yes it has nothing to do with edible nuts. Sorry I should have stated that in my initial post. The term nuts is meant to mean 'crazy' or something like that. :)

    Yes there should be no reference to peanuts. Thats what I meant when I said 'We will be selling a wide range of products so the logo should not have a specific product theme' - in retrospect I should probably have clarified this just incase someone misintepreted the statement. The term 'muts' is supposed to mean 'crazy'. :)

    Hey,
    I'm fonzerelli's business partner and have an idea for this logo. I'd like to incorporate a mascot in some way, possibly as the point above the i or to the side of the name. My first thought was it to be some sort of crazy little man made of flames, the thinking being that he was nuts and made of flames. We're open to other suggestions though, if you have an idea of your own.

    To the contest holder... for future reference if you give feedback to entries you will get a better outcome. I submitted 2 enties and got no feedback or rating. A simple 'no, but thanks' would have done... after me and others spent our time to do your logo the least you can do is comment or say thanks!

    I can't help but feel that a few stared to closely resemble my entry, including the winners! Oh well must have been the extra stationary work he did that swung it for him!

    Well said webtide, this isn't the only contest that I have entered and not received feedback! how can you get a feel for what the CH wants without any direction. Though you were quite quick to provide something that was close to what they were after, only to receive no feedback...Then all of a sudden the winning entry looks uncannily like yours!!...mmmm....you do have to wonder!!
    I am new to site point and still a little dubious about it all, as you well know concepts are the most inportant part of any design, without it there is no design, I don't want to upset anyone and it could have been a pure coincidence but I think that the stationary could have swung it a little! ;)

    Hi Creatrix,

    It can be alittle flustrating not getting feedback when you have worked hard to come up a design, that i thought was close to the requirments.

    I see some of the 'inspired' logos have been removed :)

    Removed, Yes well that's fitting eh!..

    to be honest I didn't really put much work into it as I just had an idea and chucked it together, but feedback would have maybe made me reconsider and do something that was alot for fitting!... I don't think i will put more work or time in unless i know that the contest is being properly executed and everyone has a fair chance of winning! there must be twoing and frowing between CH and Entrant otherwise its just like shooting in the dark, you will never hit your target!

    Never mind eh, another day, another contest no doubt good luck with your new contests and if you see it happen again do speak up as it needs to be said like it was in this one!!

    Sorry for the delay in replying, I didnt get an email saying it had been updated.

    I do apologise to the designers who submitted entries and didnt receive feedback. I can understand how frustrating that can be. The reason I didnt leave a lot of feedback is because I have been absolutely swamped recently. We are in the process of launching this online shop and I am also in the process of selling off a lot of the websites I run because my time is limited.

    Again, sorry for not leaving feedback on the logo :)
