    @kat504: I don't think so.. maybe the top is a bit the same but the overall layout is different from yours..

    Correct me if am wrong?

    ArnoudP, the placement of elements aren't the same, but the design elements and how they are laid out are the same.
    Especially the top part, the navigation menu, the ministry outreaches and the bottom part. I'm thinking even the color scheme of the background!
    I would appreciate if you'd do something about this.

    just report him if you do not like it...
    this is a competetion and some people go to any means...
    do not let it stress you KAT504, life is to short...
    especially when you could hit one button and report him :)
    if i am not mistaken copying people is a violation of terms with designers...

    I would also say they look very similar :) sorry ArnoudP, she has a valid point. From top to bottom they are the same, you just moved somethings around. look at the difference between mine and hers and i got a close to similar color in my background, also look at my other entry. Various designs and looks gets you more chances to win, even though my first one is not A+ it's still another view and look, keeping close to the original site, then i did a more extensive one for the 2nd entry for a more clean crisp look.

    Using the report button is what you're supposed to do in these cases, or any case of copyright violation, but by the time SP Admin got around to doing anything about it,the contest would be over. It's really up to the designer at this point to try and change whatever elements may be the same as another entry - or remove it from the contest altogether.

    @gdkinc - sure submitting more than one entry does enhance your chances, but don't do what a few other designers do submit a heap of entries and all they've changed was the colour of a few headings or something :-) I saw a logo contest recently where there were over 15 (3 rows) by the same designer - needless to say, they didn't win anyway....

    Thank you for the advice gdkinc and Nadia P. I just wanted to address my concern to him first before I report him if he does not cooperate. I wanted to make him realize first and give him a chance to change his entry. It was really odd that there are a lot of entries, all different from each other, then there was ArnoudP's entry looking too much alike like mine. It's just sad.

    I'm very sorry... I didn't want to copy your site .... I will change some of the things of the layout....
    i've asked a couple of people to look at it and they didn't say that they were very alike
    so please dont shout with reporting and that kind of things.. I am a reasonable person and i hope we can find a solution for this.. And there will be...

    Oh do not think I wanted to report you, I was giving her an opition. No point in people getting worked up over a contest where people do what they do to win you know. I like the new one alot better anyways, stands out more with what you were trying to accomplish with the layout. The header is alot better. Good luck man.
