Here's my design mock-up for the page....
- tried to give you a "cleaner" look, but give you a grungy/punk-rock edge with the fonts, header, and colors
- the page is completely expandable, CSS friendly, and (of course) the content can be switched out by whatever you deem appropriate
- I envision the featured artists element as being something that rotates through the artists, and the user can click through the artists by using the square buttons. This, of course, can be altered to only feature one artist if that is what you prefer.
I actually have plenty of experience working on music related/industry sites - if there's any other ways I can be of help to you -please let me know! Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
