Regarding design #4
Thanks for the submission, Jonathan.
Insofar as the site's layout goes, the side callout area takes up quite a bit of space, not leaving much area for the actual site's content in the center/right. Could you adjust the left side's layout to accommodate more content to be put in the middle?
Regarding design #4
Kent,
I can make the requested the requested change tomorrow, I just wanted to let you know that I choose the width for the sidebar based on the two thirds visual design principle as well as in keeping with the same width that was used for the logo area. The text areas in the center and right can grow vertically to accomadate larger text areas as well as a subpage design that is full width. I will design a subpage to illustrate this as well as show the front page in two different width styles for sidebar and content. Thank you for your feedback, Jonathan.

here is the smaller width sidebar with larger content area. Let me know what you think. Also, I noticed in other feedback that you changed the menu, which is now reflected in my new design.
Thank you for your feedback.

Subpage design with full content width to allow maximum reading area for subpages.
Thank you for feedback.

My advisers aren't wild about the top navigation nor the banner image; they feel that it's taking away from the site's content and not giving adequate exposure to the candidate.
Regarding design #8
Yes; the other feedback was to establish whether or not that particular design would be able to support navigation changes, as I hadn't thought it would have.
My advisers still aren't too wow-ed by the site design and layout. My only suggestion is that the site take more advantage of the space it has and not leave that much white space surrounding the content
