Regarding design #40
Damn, My feedback got eaten.
I entered it hours ago.
Right,really love the serene vibe from this site, whether its the image or the layout. Its hard to say why this works but it does, very well.
The navigation is great. I am a sucker for an image link but I am not sure I can ask you to do that here for the main navigation.
The top part of the site is great, as is the surround image which usually hasnt worked with other entries.
I wonder if some sort of image couldn't fit above the main text, perhaps with the tagline. If that seems to much maybe something at the side of the text.
The graphical sublinks I would arrange horizontally rather than vertically,or put some graphical link to Recipes etc at the right of the page. That space is a little dead. Anyway, very well done.
Can I ask you to make another submission using only the images provided in the links I sent?

I do like it Cyrixian.
I will ask you to do maybe one more revision because I need to make sure how this will work for other pages.
Can you resubmit with a top image that is very vivid and colorful?
This page looks great but thats because of the very nice image you've chosen. Please choose the waterfall image and see how it can be integrated into that top part of the page.
Also can you arrange those sublinks horizontally? as in 2 rows by two columns? And please use more colorful photos? I wish to see how versatile this design is.
Overall excellent - like the recipe of the day.

Regarding design #65
You were always on the right track. I just needed to satisfy a few concerns I had regarding the design's versatility.
My concerns were unfounded.
It's an early bath for you. The others will have to fight on to join you, deadbit, irshad and james in the finalist's enclosure.
This is getting a bit like American Idol. Luckily, there's no limit to the amount of people who can get to the final.
