Our web development business needs a new logo. The reason for the change is that our current logo is a "sticker". We are looking for a new brandable logo like what Sitepoint use. i.e when you see the blue and orange arrows you know it's Sitepoint! Our current logo was also created in low quality, we need a high quality logo that will look great when printed and it must scale properly. (will be used for letterhead etc)
The reason for the change is we are launching a new website. Our old logo can be seen here. Please note you do not have to use the same colour scheme and we are open to all suggestions.
Our only requirements is that the logo must have some brandable aspect (i.e logo's such as sitepoint or apple). This means that over time people could just see the icon and associate it with the brand.
Our business specializes in php and so we outsource most of our design work. We have not launched our site yet because all of our work has been by referral in our local area. We are looking for an entire site design after the logo has been created. The winning entry will be the basis for another contest on sitepoint for the site design.
Please note that the winner of this contest will not automatically be awarded the job of the site design. This will be a separate contest.
I have held 3 contests on sitepoint so far and all contests have had a winner. So feel comfort in knowing this contest will not be abandoned. I do however reserve the right not to pick a winner if I am not satisfied. I will be as quick as possible with feedback.
The name of our business is imagize. (pronouced ima-jize)
