Hi Mogeek... people I've been showing this contest are drawn to your concept...
The first one seem to be the favorite though. I like the fact that the font weight changes. It also appears less two-dimensional than this one.
Could you play a little with it? When doing the blue background version, make sure it is dark blue.
What are you trying to represent with the icon? I like it, like its movement, its wavelike simplicity, yet I wonder if it could be improved... not too sure what would need to change, though. Maybe nothing. Sorry to not be able to be more precise.

The logo is symbolism of an upper torso laying to the side... The body of the text helps fill in the rest of the empty space with the logo evoking the feeling of someone peacefully resting or snuggled up in some blankets...
I'll submit the other one on a darker blue background and play with the typeface color... thanks again for the feedback...

Here is Concept 1 with some minor revisions...
I've darkened up the light blue for "tracks" a touch and changed the background colors to white/dark blue... I hope this is getting closer to what your looking for... thanks again...

thanks. the "tracks" is probably a tad light over white.
How would that look with another font?
I liked the gradual background that went from white at the center to very light blue at the edges... It gave a more depth to the logo... maybe we can implement a version of it that blends with a slightly darker blue than what was in the initial version -- but we can see that later if you're selected, right?

Here are a couple variations on the typeface... I'm staying away from anything with hard edges as i don't think it would work very well with the overall design... I've darkened up the blue just a touch in "tracks" as well...
i also made the gradient in the swoops a little more prominant (white to blue)... subtle but more... we can play with that as well until we get it right... thanks again for the feedback...
