    reposting the contest with a higher prize would attract more designers and more entries.

    We were out of state for three days, working with a club on a casting. When we got back, we saw this mess. Honestly, there is no original in art - Romeo and Juliette has been written over and over. Ideas build on each other -that is especially what is inspiring about this site. There are starting points, offered by many in this contest, and there are those that build or elaborate, BUT each design is unique. We are not declaring a winner at this time. Although there has been a lot of effort, no one has nailed what we are trying to convey. This is a hard logo - we know that. We've already paid for two failed attempts by brick and mortar design firms. Entz, brancody, and deejones - you all put forth an amazing effort. I am sorry that some entries had to be removed before we could see them. It's probably not proper for us to continue seeking a winning entry from you three, as the contest has officially run. We may go back to the real-world drawing board, or we may repost. If anyone wishes to have feedback at this time, we will provide it.

    Just a few things...I understand why brancoady is angry. It sucks to have your idea taken, changed a tiny bit and reposted by somebody else. However I do have to say that this is the nature of the design business. This is exactly how web trends are made. For instance, web 2.0 style came about because the characteristics evolved with the help of many. Where would we be today if somebody had proclaimed "HEY! that's my reflection!", "WTF...I invented glossy icons!" OR "FK! it was my idea to use san serif font!!!"???? LOL! Seriously though...the thing that sets one apart from another in this business is how well that individual can create original ideas AS WELL AS how well we execute these ideas. Trust me...people who have to copy ideas aren't going to last long in this business and it's the honest creative mind that will benefit from much success.

    Entz, the fact of the matter is that without my design, yours would not be. This is happening more and more on this site, I just hope that the contest holders can see it - and remove the "copycats" designs from the competitions.

    If you now win the competition then I will not be one of the participants congratulating you. I just hope that the CH has the morals to prevent somebody such as yourself from winning anything at all.

    And I will happily send my design to the playboy CW team to get their thoughts on the matter - there is nothing in it.

    Good luck to all other entrants, there are some original and creative designs in this contest, its a shame that some people ruin it for the rest of us.
