Submitted design #10
Hello. Ok well here I was very excited someone finally decided to throw in a wiki project. I took the Modern, Clean, Deisgn-forward, Original, concepts to a next level. Here I created an icon that will stay in your head forever and that will be linked immediately to premium wiki without language boundaries. The red croc will be the power icon that everyone will remember. The smle and pose of the croc is inviting and non threatening so it relates with collaboration and works great with the eidea of having a crocodile helping with the wiki process. at the same time what inspired me is the idea that wiki portrays which is looks, skins! The crocodile has a very unique skin and pattern and is different on each and every croc. I thought about individuality and originality for the buyers or users because they want that different look on their media. Enjoy!

Wow! I really like the multi-layered thought that went into this design! I hadn't thought about playing up on the wiki "skin", but I like the concept and would be willing to see it explored.
A few thoughts.
1. I like the emphasis on "Premium Wiki" in the design.
2. I also like the minimal use of different colors.
3. The croc concept is interesting and I'm intrigued by "killer wiki designs" undertone, but I think I'm looking for a different animal. Perhaps workinng the head of dinosaur into the "P". Lizard skin texture stands out to me, as well as Zebra, cow. I want the design to be friendly since wikis are collaboration (not that I want the icon to be cuddly like a bear).
4. A different font would be better. I'm looking for something more modern like museum of modern art than techy.
Ok, I hope you'll take another stab at this. I like where you were going!

ok, the type is better, but i'm thinking the going with an animal may not be best. thanks for the idea though.
