- Brief Summary
-
Our web site is in the design specification stage and will incorporate the chosen logo. The logo must be memorable and unique. We appeal to the senses. We savor fragrance and textures. We appreciate fine fabrics for their feel and sense of quality. Texture is very important - velvets, fine linens, plush fabrics and fine silks remind us of the value of our products. We consider the appreciation of fragance to be a form of art, supported by aromatherapy, nature and tradition. Wellness and comfort are key goals for our products and services. Our customers choose to surround themselves with our products in order to reduce stress, achieve comfort and appreciate the finer aspects of living.
The logo should allow for two color presentation and the designer must submit both the web version and a two-color(e.g. black and white)version.
The logo must represent our company and our products.
The logo must represent well on light and dark backgrounds.
Even though we have an opinion of what the look and feel of the logo should be, you are the designer and we want you to feel free to express your art and submit something you feel would be appropriate. - Actions

Hello Everyone, thank you very much for your entries and all your effort. We love the response. We would like to give you a better idea of the kind of artwork we want to achieve - in case our details page might be a bit confusing. We want to gear away from anything too feminine - no flowers. We prefer more masculine but not too too strong. Think of it as a neutral project since our clientelle is 50/50. Besides the site, the logo will be used for print work such as bus.cards, post cards and a logo/icon/symbol/image of art reflecting gifts that make scents. Nothing illustrative - more creative, artistic, scrolls with movement, scrolls with a masculine touch, gift box, a bow or bows, a box with a floating silky long ribbon, or circles (however used), circle in a box, something to signify moving fragrance and gifts. Remember this is only a dot com store. The colors are rich and dark with some lite colors as highlighters. No primary colors. We like Chocolate suede browns, add some gold to that, rich dark eggplant purples, velvety purple with an added ambiance of a candle glow, golds, silvers, maroon, black on cream (more dramatic) .... I think you get the idea. Again we appreciate all your work and if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to let us know. Looking forward to a finished product. S.
