I am currently looking to redesign the anime site RealityLapse.com. I've always felt that the site needed a distinct logo, so this will be included in the contest. Although I'm not sure what style I'm looking for in the design yet, I like the blue and orange color scheme I already have on the site.

Logo:
RealityLapse.com has never had a distinct logo so I would like to have one in this version of the site. Although I want to logo to be "friendly", I don't want it have depict something from any particular anime series. Let your imagination go wild for this.
Template:
I don't have any specific style in mind for the template design at the moment, but I'll be sure to provide constructive feedback as the contest progresses. However, I would like to preserve blue and orange in the design somehow. You can add any additional colors you like as long as blue and orange is incorporated into the design somehow. It is even more important that the 720x90 and 160x600 ads are preserved somewhere.
In addition to the basic template, there are also four elements of the site that need to be redesigned.
Home Page
I'm looking to show the latest videos available somewhere. Otherwise, it'll just the updates and the 300x250 that are there now.
Navigation:
I need to reduce the size of the left navigation bar. One possibility is to eliminate that part completely and adding an "Anime Listing" link to the top. The alternative is to have a collapsible menu with the letters, or range such as a menu that says "A" or "#-A". Once clicked, that menu would show the series that begin with its letter.
Media Listing Listing Page
This refers to video selection, music selection, or manga selection. They can look the same really, but need to be changed to reflect the new design.
Video Download Page
This type of page shows a video title, its size, and the languages it's available in. You can use the Bleach Videos for an example of what's on this page. The language selection is something new. The expected options are English, Japanese, and perhaps German. I also plan to include screenshots, but I'm not sure if there should be thumbnails or just a link.
