Regarding design #15
Howdy,
Definitely preferred the other designs. This one is nice from graphic design point of view, but it doesn't look like a typical website.
This can be good and bad, depending on your objectives. Generally speaking, its good to stick with familiar ground. If the user gets confused about the site, you tend to lose business.

Regarding design #2
I like what you've done with the header area. The nav looks more like a tagline at a glance though, perhaps you could do something to make them look like buttons?
Also remember that whitespace is good - I'd leave a little room between the header and the sidebar/content, and more room above/below those three gray boxes in the middle.
