Brief Summary

This contest is ended, the contest holder has 7 days to pick a winner or withdraw the contest.

Hello all!

“TopVibrations”, which is our new start-up, will be selling a range of better than usual, up-market adult toys and products.

We are looking for a fresh approach for a clean and modern web 2.0 stylized design which will later be coded with CSS. The page width will be fluid, not fixed, with a scroll bar for height. Search box also needed.

Should look like the new fashioned style of websites. Not the usual boring and cluttered old fashioned shopping sites. However, would probably still want a left sidebar navigation since this is an ecommerce site and customers still find that the most user-friendly.

Discussion

  1. could you post some links of your competitors, or sites that appeal to you (visually, aesthetically, doesn't have to be adult sites) so we can get a better understanding of how your site's structure would go.....thank you.

  2. Hi lazydisciple

Aesthetically speaking, we like the styling of this page:
    http://www.three.co.uk/xseries/index.omp
However, that page is mainly Flash which is not our aim.

Ecommerce sites that look a bit better than most are:
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore
    http://www.amazon.com/

    Thanks for your comments.
    Regards
    navitas

  4. Hi narra

Never used xoom, but can do Western Union.

I'll add it to the Payment Methods Offered section.

    Regards

  6. There seems to be a problem with Sitepoint as I can not leave any more feedback.

  7. Hi folks

    The contest is now ended.

I would like to thank all the talented designers here for taking the trouble to submit their ideas. The overall standard was excellent and we will be running more logo contests very soon.

Jpan was the winner of the logo contest, although it was a close call with a few other logo designs which were also excellent. There was no winner for the website design as there were only a few designs submitted and none were what we were after.

All the best in your other contests,
    navitas
