Brief Summary

The contests' goal is the design of a billboard for a print and design house campaign. Any software can be used. We will accept multiple entries per person.
The goal of the billboard is to promote great design, quality printing and bring in many new customers,
We want to see a lot of creativity in the entries, so we might see diversity and every participant own special style.

    We are not. The link was to a contest we had run on our own. It was not working out...so we decided to go with sitepoint. But, the info and graphic there are still useable to sitepoint people. There is no outside link to the page unless we give it to someone.

    can we submit photoshop .psd files, if its more than 300dpi? because your brief doesn't mention any raster image formate?

    NON-VECTOR FILES ARE ACCEPTED - 72 DPI at full size or 720 Dpi at 1/10 size
    Does NOT have to be vector

    72DPI is not good for printing... for printing you need. 300 DPI

    Why do you keep asking for the usage of the guy pointing if the quality of it is not that great. Can we make a cartoon of the guy or use a silhouette?

    Do you want a 720Dpi 1/10 scale of the final 14' x 48'?

    when setting it up in Photoshop I create a 1/10 scale document converted to cm, 146cm x 42cm at 720pixels/inch.
    The document alone before working is 1.38Gb, is this correct?

    Please USE the picture of the guy pointing. There is a reason for this. It is NOT going to be the picture used but it WILL be the pose that will be used.

    Please do not use the term "starburst special" on the billboard. A just put "5,000 Full Color Brochures for $375" inside a starburst. Sorry for the misunderstanding. A good example so far is the one done by Franklinsan. Thank you

    The ones done by Rykoo are in a great direction as well. As a matter of fact there are some really good submissions we are very excited how this contest is going.

    The guy pointing should be pointing at the a Starburst. Inside the starburst it should say "5,000 Color Brochures for $375"

    The extensions (cut outs of artwork outside of the billboard) cannot exceed 128 square feet. This is limited to no more than 5 feet off the top of the board and two feet off each side. There can not be any text inside the extensions

    Yes, we want WOW (company name) Design and Printing (what we do) to be on there.
    As far as extensions go. We didn't originally have them planned but as we see the designs come in we wouldn't rule them out.
    Catchy, to the point, and creative all in one 7 second glance.

    With have a spit decision right now between Scottrogers80's 4th entry and Hazart's 3rd entry. Both of you will be contact on how we can move forward we will either have you spit the money (plus we will add more if that is the case) or we will have a group of our clients/friends/family vote and come up with a decision that way.
    We would also like to make special mention to those that also came in real close. That would be Rykoo, someartguy, Hombreg, also Niksim who had great communication and we plan on working with you in the future for other projects.
    We'd like to thank EVERYONE that entered you ALL did a great job.
