Regarding design #60
Hi Tim. You were one of the half-dozen "finalists" I showed to my partners. They liked your design tremendously. Their main criticism was that the radiations from the starfish were interesting but may not copy well in print. Without those, there was not much else to the logo. I looked at a lot of your other work here and on the portfolio site you sent. Good stuff. I wish you the best, Tim. -JD

Oh... one other thing. The font size of the tagline (in image 1 of Entry 7) needs to be bigger, possibly thicker. I think its too small and may not copy well in other media.

Regarding design #51
Nearly there!
(1) Make the nodes at the ends of the starfish solid.
(2) Change the background to an off-white color
(3) Really like the tagline font in top image (you can discard the bottom image)
(4) Just so I can see what it'll look like, provide an extra image without the internal detail in the starfish (i.e. a solid color)I think that will do it. You are on my short-list and I'd like to learn a little more about you. Noticed you are in Chicago. Do you have a website or other media showcasing your work. What else do you design besides logos? B-cards, stationery, websites?
Thanks for all your incredible effort. Can't wait to show your final product to my partners.

Regarding design #47
You did indeed make the requested revisions.
I think the 2nd baby starfish will probably not copy well. Also, the reaching arc added for Entry 6 is probably not (in retrospect) necessary. That pretty much brings us back to Entry 5.
What I meant with the "small caps" thing is not small case but all capitalized (but small text).
I just showed your designs to a trusted design-oriented friend who really liked yours a lot. He indicated that the internal detail in the starfish will probably not copy well in other media. I really don't care too much because I plan to have stationery professionally pre-printed. However, we should probably include one image that is not so internally detailed for special uses.
Also, is there a way to make the starfish itself a little larger?
If we can accomplish this last round of revisions, I think we will be nearly done. Thank you.

I made the revisions you asked and I also threw in another starfish! I had seen a previous comment that you had made earlier! If you don't like it I can definitely change it!
I also included the lowercase management text! -

Regarding design #44
Wow... it's awesome to watch your designs evolve. Of the logos on the left (1 thru 5), you can discard 1, 4 and 5. I love #2 and #3 with the thin curved lines/nodes. Probably #3 (solid nodes) would be the most copy-able in print.
Is there something wrong with the right tip of the "r" and left cross of the "f"? Were those areas separated by your previous work?
What would the tagline "Revenue Management" look like in small caps?
Also, the background is a little too mauve/orangish? This logo will probably go on a white or off-white background either in print or on a website. Could you change the background to be more white-ish?
