Dear Designers,
For the truffle color, please try "black + a little blue".
There is an option to add a little of "chocolate dust" to make it look more delicious
(like here http://www.hillsfinefoods.co.uk/_im…ffles.png)With your icons, you don't have to re-create perfect details of how these items look exactly in a real world. I need a drawing with an artistic improvisation, something which look great as an icon, smooth, sexy and pleasant on the eye.
It hard to achieve this in 16x16 so do not try to transfer all the detail to this low resolution - make it more simplistic to be beautiful.
