    Thanks so much for the designs, everyone! You guys are brilliant!! I'll definitely be coming back here for the UI design of my next iPhone app.

    I have loved #4 since the first time I saw it. kotan, can you give me a 512x512 version of that? I'd like to make that the winner. Thanks.

    Wow, great job kotan & brittany. Really, really impressive.

    Brittany - Your road in #12 is great, it's exactly the road I was picturing when I asked for that. And I like your people more there too. 5 stars! Your #18 and #19 people lost their flair, lost their life a little.. It doesn't have to be with arms but I'd like to be sure the people look alive..

    Kotan - Thanks for the green distant end person. And your new design with the two people passing something back-and-forth is very cool. I just think its going to be so tiny on the iphone that we can't get down to that level of detail with the ball having something inside it. Good idea though and thanks for trying something passed back and forth. I should say that it's really only a one-way operation.. person 1 sends the notice to person 2 who follows the route to person 1. It's not really back-and-forth.

    I thought I might like the concentric circles emanating out from the people but I don't, sorry for the bad idea. That's not going to work. And no need to have more than one person on either end.

    My favorites so far are #4 and #12. Nice job both of you!

    These are really amazing designs, thanks so much folks!

    If anyone is looking for a different theme to play with, here are some other elements of my app that you could experiment with:

    - one user sends the invitation to the other "through the airwaves"
    -- maybe concentric circles from one to the other?
    -- maybe the a sync logo or a "connected to wireless network" logo?

    - one user sends a picture of his location to the other user
    -- not sure if you can show a scene and then an even smaller representation of the scene beamed across from one person to the other? that might be asking a lot in 57x57..

    - the users will probably drive from one place to another in a car

    Again, I am super happy with the themes that are coming out here first from kotan and then adapted by brittany. I think so far kotan's is the most beautiful and elegant. But if anyone else is out there wanting to participate and stumped for an idea, maybe some of the above will spark your imagination.

    kotan - I think it looks really good, even that small. Thanks for the resize + iphone view. When the tiny red character got shrunk down and lost a little detail, he kind of looks like a little tiny demon (which I dont care for as much). Maybe the red character would look a little better without the face highlighting.

    brittany - The line (and the line + arrow) you added is nice. I like the thickness. It might even be thick enough to be a road. Would you mind adding a dashed yellow line down the middle of it, simulating a road? That would be interesting to see... Also, your people look kind of fat - I prefer a slimmer character. :)
