Brief Summary

I operate an Import/Export company. The full name is Byrtus Import & Export. We require a logo which means the Type aswell as an Image to accompany this. In some cases if we get a Logo which is a custom designed font we may not require a symbol/image. For example the IBM logo which is a custom font.

    It is a certain significance to the family and our history, nothing to do with the business or anything like that.

    I'm pleasently surprised at the number of entries i received overnight, Its morning here, so when I return from work this evening I'll give critiques/comments for all entries.

  3. Hi,
    I've left comments for some designs now. I apologise beforehand if i may come across as being blunt/rude in the critiques but its just so that I don't waste my time and more importantly your's by leading you on etc.

    If I havent left you any feedback it unfortunatly means I don't like your design. I would appreciate if you had a look at some other designs that I've left good feedback for though and resumbit a logo more in tune with what you could tell I fancy.

    Yes OK we can do western Union, but we'd have to deduct $28 AUD from the prize money as that what it costs us for every transfer. For this reason we prefer paypal.

    I've been busy this weekend, ill leave comments for new additions when I get back to work on Monday. I will also block any designs we Don't like and leave only those that we think have potential

    Well I have paid $20 USD just to start a contest here I think that alone would demonstrate my legitimacy, however I will not pay for a design we dont like/will not use. I thought that was agiven. We like a few as is, and if the applicable designers work with us and give us some revisions closer to what we would like, we will purchase them.

  10. I must say that i'm a little pissed off about getting my entry discarded whitout recieving any comments. All the designs might not has been to your liking and I undersatand that but it would of been nice from you to explain why. So please, a little more respect for the designers. We deserve it!

    I'm really sorry if I offend anyone. I have very little time as it is, and I have been getting lots of entries (very good!) but I have no where near enough time to offer everyone a decent critique, even though I know this is what you all deserve.

    I have deleted many entries that are not what we are looking for, and left ones that suit our interests. I hope that designers can have a look at this, to get an idea of what we're after.

    Again I apologise for any offence I may have caused.

    We chose "claurus" as the winner. I've gone through the sitepoint process for this, but Can't seem to get it to work. I would like to then congratulate Claurus, for his wonderful design.
