Yes there is a negative but also a positive side of blind contest. I would like to hear, why you doesn't like blind contest.
I think positive side of blind contest is: no copy from other users. Negative: now contest holder must provide even better feedback, and we know that only some of them provide good feedback.I dont want to make discusion here, I accidentally saw your comment and I was curious to hear why :)

If this wasn't a blind test, I would enter. The fact that I can't see my competition makes it just seem like a waste of time in my own opinion and I am totally against this feature.
