Regarding design #17
Dumples, I like the creativity of this star and you got the colors closer than most. It's not quite right but I can't tell you what to change. I can tell you what I do like. I like the Orange swooshes through the middle ALOT and I really like the curves on the star tips, plus the fact the star is on an angle.
Just something about the way the center white star, turquoise bits and gray line up or work together that I'm not wild about.
Also (not sure) but what if the 5 was Orange and the top of the 5 connected to the left end of the orange swoosh. So it would look like the 5 sort of had a swhoosh shooting through the Star?

Nope sorry if I didn't explain it well enough. SO hard to explain when you are visualizing something.
Look at the top one you did, the 1st one.Leave the 2 swooshes like they are.
Make a copy of the 5 and make it the same color as swoosh and move it straight up so the right side of the horizontal line on top of the 5, just touches the swoosh. So the 5 is separate and to the left and it looks like it's shooting the swooshes through the star.
I do like the new star better though (without the gray). So 2nd star, with 1st swooshes and the 5 hooked onto the left side of the swoosh like I explained. At least I hope I explained it right.
