Hey guys, I extended the contest so I could get better responses, I appologize for the lack of feedback. I havent been around much , and I have the next few days to really bang this out.
What I'm looking for is something that tells the client that this is a luxury brand. The challenge is to make the word MANGO appear as though its not litteral ... so I like the play with the letter "M" and perhaps mango studios under it. and also the "mango is fresh" tied in there.
I came across this logo and think it might help for direction

stripe_access #1 and porterLKP # 6 are a little closer to what I'm thinking. They gave me the idea to go with just the letter "M"
I hope that helps for direction.

Hi Mango, I think you missed out on a lot of entries due to not leaving feedback regularly. When designers can see complaints of not receiving feedback most of them don't want to risk wasting any time for fear of the contest being abandoned. Also the feedback you gave stripe_access told me a lot that the brief didn't - it gave me some new ideas, and I'm sure it was the same case for other designers! I think you'd do a lot better in getting what you want if you could somehow extend the deadline and provide regular feedback.
All the best

why do contest holders not realise that feedback will give them much more....
Maybe some job for the sitepoint team to point it out more, although it is mentioned in the guidelines.
