Oh no, you are absolutely correct. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian will enter into eternity but that doesn't negate the truth that God gives good things to those who don't deserve it, such as ourselves.

The problem I find with statements like yours is that they are all to inaccurate and written with emotion versus logic. The Word of God, Christianity, Christ Himself, this life, it's not a joke. For me, my beliefs and my faith in the one true Creator of all living things is not a joke nor is it something I like to be lukewarm on. Using the argument that religious people are told to hate people, gays or those of other religions is a false concept. Why? Because your definition of hate is telling someone they are wrong or in danger of going to hell. Your definition is wrong. (what I just said could be considered hate)

I don't hate gay people, but because i believe I have the truth and that this truth says that no homosexual shall enter the kingdom of God, it is my DUTY to tell everyone and anyone about this truth who is living a life that is leading to an eternal separation from God. By logic alone it is apparent that i should be preaching what I confess to believe. Logically I shouldn't be lukewarm as the Word says not to be.

Rick Warren he flip flopped on homosexuality for example, Prop 8. He sent out a video saying that anyone who believes what the Bible teaches believes that marriage is between a man and woman and that homosexual marriage is wrong. On Larry King he then said that he never endorsed prop 8. Look it up, you'll find youtube videos cutting between both vids of what he said (both contradictory to the other)

You say that to love someone is to not tell them what they are doing is wrong. Saying that homosexuality is wrong is then brought under scrouteny by the left and deemed bigotry and hateful. If you understood love you'd understand that many Christians (Paul, Peter, James, John, Jude, and old testament writers) and many modern day Christian evangelists and teachers (John Pipper, John McArthur, Paul Washer...) and my self would give our lives to warn someone of danger we believed they faced. Paul was beaten and stoned because he preached that Jesus was the only way to eternal life. Most megachurch pastors and new age evangelists wouldn't dare preach that because it's considered hate. They have a false sense of what love and hate are.

How much do you have to hate someone to not tell them the truth?
